Why, hello there. I see you've managed to stumble across my little profile. The following are just some minor facts about little ol' me. If you want to squeeze any other information out of me like I were an orange, you'll have to drop a comment by my Friends Only entry. How do I do this, you ask? Simply click that pretty crappy banner up yonder and do so. If I like you, or think you're a nifty person, I'll add you back. Well, I'll add about anyone that gives me a comment in that particular section.

←The Basics.→
The name's Alan. 19 years young. Born on the 20th of June in 1988 and raised in Miami, though I wish I had been raised elsewhere. It would certainly make my life a bit more interesting. I go by too many other aliases, rather they be online or in person, which include Areso, Desu, Linky, Linkeh, Linketh, Waffle, Twos, and Deuce.

What do I do in my spare time? Not a lot, actually. Play video games, stay online for hours on end, the usual bored person with hardly any life type of stuff. While I'm online, or just on a computer, you can most likely find me either on Gaia Online or reading webcomics like Cyanide and Happiness (My personal favorite) or VG Cats. I used to play Ragnarok Online, but eventually quit. Extremely tempted to start back up, but I need to find a decent and free private server. Servers with both of those qualities barely even exist, though I've stumbled on a couple.

I'm an aspiring drummer. I say aspiring because I want to learn to play the drums with a flaming passion, and I don't own a set of my own. Drums are my absolute favorite instrument. What got me so into them? Hell, I don't even remember, but I loved them since I was a child, but my family could never afford them. Buy me a drum set and I'll make love to you right then and there. Two of my drumming idols are Naoki from Deathgaze and TSUKASA from D'espairs Ray.

I used to watch a bunch of anime back in the day, but anime's prectically disappeared from my life. Not that I don't like anime, it's just that I don't usually have the time to watch it. I most certainly can't download any with dial-up (It still exists, sadly), but hopefully this chapter in my life can be re-written. I end up reading more manga than watching anime. Reading it is more interesting to me, anyway.

←The Loves of My Life.→
My two loves in life are music and my best friend, Mika. Even though she lives alllll the way in Seattle, this girl has helped me through a boatload. She doesn't know it, but she practically saved me from killing myself years and years back. I won't get into detail unless asked. We're SO having mulatto babies in 20 years. Hopefully they won't be tragic mulatto babies like Mariah Carey.

My future band-mates, Dani and Zacky, I love dearly. Dani and Zacky fight all the time, but that's all part of being the big, happy, band family we are.

Of course all of my friends I have an incredible amount of love for.

Other than that, good music makes my heart go pitter-patter and skip around like a giddy school girl. Amongst my favorite genres of music include any type of Metal, rather it be Thrash, Death, Doom, Heavy, or even Love. No hair metal, please. The early 80's should've been set aflame along with the flammable hair sprays. Gothic rock, Industrial, Techno, Darkwave, Rapcore, and Trance rank among my favorite genres. Don't get me wrong, I'm not biassed when it comes to music by any means. If it has a good beat, rhythm, sound, lyrics, or vocals to it, I'll definitely have a sit-down and listen to it with you.

The only type of music that I DO NOT like is the excuse that they call Rap now. Hell, it's not even just called Rap anymore, it's called Gangsta Rap. Any artist with Lil', Rich, Thug, Gangsta, or anything like that in their name or song I'll curse to hell. If I can't understand your rap, or if none of your so-called "Rhymes" make any sense to me, I'll curse you to hell. The only rap I'll listen to now HAS to come from the 80's or early to mid 90's. If it's Hip-hop (Yes, there's a difference between Hip-Hop and Rap), I'll listen to it. If it's R&B, I'll listen to it.

I listen to music in languages other than English, as well. It can be Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese, whatever. Some of my favorite bands in other languages have to include Deathgaze, the GazettE, D'espairs Ray, MUCC, Molotov, Rammstein, Oomph!, Tokio Hotel, and many others. Yes, I do like Dir en grey as well, but I don't listen to them as often as I did in the past.

←So, in Conclusion.→
I mentioned a little more than I actually planned on, but who really cares? Think you're interested in me enough to want to know about the daily workings (Well, maybe not daily, but definitely the occasional updating) of my life? Go ahead. Click that banner and leave behind a comment. I DARE you. No, I DOUBLE DARE you. Peer pressure's a bitch, isn't it?
